Specialized Programs
The Remedial Education Program (REP), grades 6-12, provides supplemental instruction and support for students who need additional assistance in English Language Arts or mathematics. Services are designed to help students close learning gaps, improve academic achievement, and meet state performance standards.
The Gifted Education Program provides academically advanced students with challenging learning experiences designed to foster critical thinking, creativity, and deeper exploration of content. Students who meet Georgia’s eligibility criteria receive differentiated instruction to maximize their potential.
Our school counseling program supports students’ academic achievement, college and career readiness, and social-emotional development. School counselors partner with students, families, and staff to provide guidance, individual and small-group support, crisis response, and referrals to community resources when appropriate.
The Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) is a framework that provides timely academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions based on each student’s individual needs. Through ongoing data review and progress monitoring, our school works to ensure every student receives the appropriate level of support to succeed.
Students may also be eligible for services under Section 504, special education (IDEA), or English learner services. Families experiencing homelessness or housing instability, and students in foster care, have specific rights to enrollment, transportation, and school stability. Each of these has its own page with the coordinator’s contact information and how to make a referral or ask a question.
