Title I, Part D supports children and youth living in local institutions for neglected or delinquent children, attending community day programs, or at risk of academic failure due to involvement with the juvenile justice system. Services may include tutoring and academic intervention, counseling and mentoring, coordination with juvenile justice facilities and DFCS, and transition and reentry support.
